PADI Open Water Diver Advanced Certification
Advanced knowledge of deeper water skills and the ability to dive up to 30 meters.
This is considered deep diving in recreational Scuba. Gives you the ability to see more wrecks and reefs at a greater depth than Open Water 18 meters.
Scuba Gear You Will Use
In addition to basic scuba equipment, you’ll use a variety of other useful underwater tools depending on the dives you choose. Deep and Navigation are prerequisites for your Advance Open Water and then you can choose three more dives. Most popular in Subic Bay are Wreck, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Night Diver. Advance your navigation skills from your Open Water course, Fine tune your buoyancy, explore a wreck. A compass, dive knife or dive tool, and dive light are just some of the specialized gear training options available, depending on the Adventure Dives you choose..
What You’ll Learn and Do

- Hand signals/underwater communication, colour change at depth
- Learn about the aquatic life you may encounter
- Get credit! Each Adventure Dive may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI speciality course. If you’ve already taken a speciality diver course, ask your instructor if you’ve earned credit for an Adventure Dive
